Your iPhone 8 Plus won't connect to Bluetooth and you're not sure why. Bluetooth makes it possible to connect wirelessly to other Bluetooth-enabled devices such as AirPods, headphones, speakers, and more. This article will explain how to fix the problem when Bluetooth is not working on your iPhone 8 Plus!

Before You Can Pair Your iPhone To Bluetooth Devices

Your iPhone 8 Plus can only connect to other Bluetooth devices when Bluetooth is turned on. Go to Settings -> Bluetooth and turn on the switch next to Bluetooth at the top of the menu.

Your iPhone also needs to be "in range" of your Bluetooth device before they can connect. "In range" typically means about 25 feet — if your devices are further apart than that, they may not pair!
