Cyberthreat Reports Officer – Technical Writer

The Role

Be part of an international team analyzing cyberthreat information from a variety of internal and external sources to produce strategic reporting relating to cyber trends impacting financial institutions and private industry. Build your cyber-writing and reporting skills by creating products related to attacks, threat actors, and impacts.

  • Bringing a new perspective in reporting on cyber threats to financial services, the private sector, and federal agencies.
  • Describing the impact of cyberattacks. Deep study and collaborating with experts on the team, you will bring insight into threat actor behavior, intent, capability, and motivation to enterprise cybersecurity teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • You understand the power of the written word and the impact it can have on decision makers. You love to write and develop presentations. A hardworking communicator, you consolidate and edit inputs, to create coherent presentations, reports, and webpages. You deliver the news that technologists, developers and security teams, and businesses leaders can use. Edit daily, requests for intelligence, special reports, quarterly reports, presentations, and playbooks.
  • Working closely with the threat intelligence team, studying the priority intelligence requirements, your gut tells you how our team can best convey cyber events.
  • You love data, digging deep into reporting, to fully understand impact and outcome. You produce clear and concise analytical information products.
  • You are passionate about developing reference materials, documentation, playbooks, and you can explain cyber threats, malicious cyber threat actor motivations, and capabilities.
  • Design playbooks and workflows, build slides, collaborate with specialists to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures that could threaten the network.
  • Coordinate and produce intelligence products to inform, maintain and improve Fidelity’s Cybersecurity program. With direction develop information collection requirements and track performance against them.
  • Own the production of intelligence reporting, coordinate findings and analysis, and support briefing analysis to business units, peers, senior leaders, boards, and customers.
  • Build positive relationships and assist analysts and incident response staff in producing detailed reporting. Hold team accountable to production schedule and guides.
  • Technical writing experience at an enterprise-level.
